Working Working on a Building

Country Music Hall of Fame

The Story as Told by City Leaders Part 1

Authentic Collaboration

It is no secret that Nashville has an authenticity that other cities do not. Nashville, known world wide as Music City USA, has a brand of country music, down home cooking and generosity.  However, what most people don't know, is the unique blend of collaboration that exists between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville, the private business and nonprofit sectors that work in the spirit of community to make this city so authentic.

"A View of the Future, The Ability to Communicate, and The Willingness to Collaborate with Others"

Ralph Schulz, CEO of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce, provides this honorable description of Nashville when describing what city leaders created to bring together the most unique convention center campus in the nation.  It was with strategic planning from the tourist industry, collaboration from the Country Music Hall of Fame, a trusted partnership with the Omni Hotel and steering from the city of Nashville that one of the most inviting stories of Nashville's community collaboration comes together.

Championed by Mayor Karl Dean as an economic strategy for Nashville's future, the city is now reaping the benefits of a diverse city core structurally designed to strengthen the community with convention center business and tourist attractions side by side.  Music City USA is now endeared as an authentic city of collaboration and prosperity due to the efforts of original leaders who trusted and planned for the greater good.
